Cara Drenth, Director of Underwriting

Ms. Drenth is responsible for the coordination and implementation of HealthCap’s underwriting policies and procedures. Prior to joining the Chelsea Rhone team in 2001, Ms. Drenth spent the previous 17 years in the insurance industry working in underwriting, new business development, and customer service at both the agency and company level in Michigan and Virginia. Ms. Drenth is a graduate of Michigan State University.

 

 

 

Josie Kuehn, Senior Underwriter

Ms. Kuehn joined the Chelsea Rhone underwriting team in 2001 and has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Ms. Kuehn spent many years working at the company level with a major carrier, and continued her career at the agency level as an account manager for large commercial accounts. Ms. Kuehn attended Central Michigan University with continuing insurance education at Lawrence Tech.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andrea Paslick, Underwriter

Andrea Paslick has been an Underwriter at Chelsea Rhone since 2004. She received her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Michigan completing double majors in English and German and finishing her studies abroad at The University of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Prior to joining Chelsea Rhone, Ms. Paslick spent fifteen years in New York City working in Publishing for BMG Music and Reader’s Digest Entertainment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alison Baldrige, Underwriter

Alison Baldrige is responsible for underwriting and program admittance activities for HealthCap through the evaluation of risk and exposures on new and existing accounts. Ms. Baldrige received her bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Michigan. In addition to her underwriting duties, she also serves as a liaison to one of the umbrella carriers and handles endorsement processing. Prior to joining Chelsea Rhone in 2005, Alison worked as a medical research assistant evaluating acute myocardial infarct size following estrogen treatments.

 

 

 

Chris Sutton, Underwriter

Mr. Sutton is primarily responsible for underwriting new and renewal business at Chelsea Rhone. In addition to his roles as an underwriter, Mr. Sutton works as a liaison with Chelsea Rhone’s umbrella carriers. He started with Chelsea Rhone as an Underwriting Assistant in 2006 and has since transitioned into the role of an Underwriter. Prior to his time with Chelsea Rhone Mr. Sutton obtained his start in the insurance industry working for the excess and surplus lines broker Burns & Wilcox. He is a graduate of The University of Michigan.
